Can I add an image as a watermark?

Not yet. This tool supports text watermarks only. Image watermark support is on our roadmap.

Will the watermark be on top of the content or behind it?

It is drawn on top of the existing content with the opacity you set. Lower opacity values make it look more like a background stamp.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The watermark is added in your browser using pdf-lib. Nothing is sent over the network.
